thinks to try in peru: -pisco -inca cola -cuy (guinea pig) -coca leaves (you should be chewing these constantly while you hike) -coca tea (first thing in the morning and before bed while hiking) -if you're in a smaller town, ask the locals where the best Polloria is (cheap restaurant were they sell BBQ chicken)
I nailed all of these :) Great recommendations, thanks, buddy. The guinea pig was good, but the one I had did not have too much meat on it. I think I need to try a fatter one next time :) Also worth noting: I definitely had too many Pisco sours.
yes pisco can be dangerous when in the wrong hands :) the cuy, well...it is a guinea pig afterall...they usually don't have much meat on them, but it's worth sampling it anyway.
